The beach resort of Mae Phim has an excellent beach with restaurants, bars and delicious Thai seafood just a few yards from the property, and Bangkok and the International Airport are within easy reach in around 2 hours drive. The holiday island of Koh Samet is about 25km away by car, but only about 20 minutes or so by speedboat or jet ski. The nearby Koh Man islands, the first of which is home to a sea turtle breeding sanctuary, have clear waters with a coral reef and abundant marine life.
