Rock Garden Beach, Mae Phim, Rayong

As you can see from browsing the photowall, Rock Garden Beach has extensive grounds, and is a beachfront resort estate of holiday homes comprising around 250 villa bungalows plus resort grounds and facilities set amidst roughly 250 Rai or more (100 acres) of land adjacent to the ocean just 3km along the coast from the main Mae Phim beach, at the start of the new coastal highway and cycleway which will eventually allow a coastal journey all the way to Trat.

As far as Rayong real estate goes, Rock Garden Beach enjoys an ideal central location within Thailand, perfect for journeying to any corner of the country for sightseeing, but more importantly it is within easy reach of the new International Airport and of Bangkok City (around 2 hours drive away), of the superb Bangkok Hospital in Rayong (45 minutes drive), of golf courses and many other attractions in the Rayong and Pattaya areas (45 – 90 minutes drive), and of the holiday islands of Koh Samet and Koh Chang. Closer to home there are several other attractions in the area within a short journey, including the local Mae Phim beach, which is arguably the most beautiful mainland beach along the entire Eastern Seaboard, and is the jewel in the crown of Thailand’s Golden Coast. Mae Phim beach has a number of bar restaurants offering some of the best seafood dishes and tropical fruits available in Thailand, for which the Rayong province is famous.

Holiday home owners and residents of the beach villa bungalow style homes on the estate enjoy the benefits of sea breezes from the seaside location, a large oceanside park with tropical plants and a maze of paths for walking, jogging or cycling, plus two oceanside swimming pools, the largest of which is 50 metres long, has slide, waterfall feature, artificial beach area, and island with shaded bar and relaxing area and in-pool bar stools. For boating enthusiasts there’s a slipway and car park near the ocean to launch your boat or jet skis, and several of the villas have access to the canal system to the rear of their property allowing them the option to moor their boat alongside their back garden.

The tranquil surroundings, 24 hour security, extensive resort facilities and single-storey villa houses, all of which have their own garden area and parking, make it the ideal place to relax and enjoy your retirement or tropical holidays. There are at present a number of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom beach villa type houses for sale on the estate, ranging from less than 2 million Thai baht for a 2 bedroom villa bungalow on the estate, to over 7 million Thai baht for waterfront beachfront homes next to the ocean with open sea views. The price depends a lot on the location on the estate, plot size, and the condition of the property itself, but all homes have access to the ocean and use of the extensive communal facilities on the resort estate. This wide variety of ocean side property for sale means that there is something for everyone, no matter what your budget, and in our opinion Rock Garden Beach resort estate offers amongst the best value for money real estate in Rayong.

One of the attractions for real estate owners in this location of Rayong is the Kite Flying Festival, which on occasion is held at Rock Garden Beach around Songkran Festival time. This is great fun to watch, and for those interested in learning to fly kites, or indeed learning to kitesurf, then the shallow water, sandbanks and steady cross onshore breezes at Rock Garden Beach offer ideal conditions for those wishing to learn in safety.
